Jennifer founded Landmark Consulting after six years in sales and marketing in consumer and business-to-business categories, and eight years of consulting through Pyramid Consulting Group.



CONSULTING BACKGROUND...

 

Jennifer spent the first eight years of her consulting career with Pyramid Consulting.  Here, Jennifer co-developed the Pyramid Competitive Set Analysis, a process used to define and evaluate competitive arenas in a proprietary way based upon benefit.

As a consultant and researcher, Jennifer has worked in diverse product and service categories, including paper, coffee, bread, nutritional items, water heaters, infant formula, office products, publishing, telecommunications, computer-related hardware, the Internet, and information services.  She has a special interest in the Internet and related businesses.  

 

Her passion is creating strong brands in historically commodity categories.

BUSINESS BACKGROUND...

 

Jennifer began her career in telecommunications. She created and implemented one of the first nationwide cellular premium programs, executed through convenience store channels.

At Nash Business Systems, Jennifer's marketing efforts resulted in a 500% increase in equipment unit sales and a 1000% increase in equipment sales revenues. She focused a company-wide strategy toward larger corporations, resulting in improved efficiencies. Jennifer also designed and implemented an electronic hardware rental program, which produced an incremental income stream delivering 80% net profit margins.

PERSONAL HISTORY...

 

Attending Furman University and Georgia State University, Jennifer studied vocal performance as well as Psychology and Medicine.

 

At Furman University, Jennifer performed solo and in groups in the USA, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. She worked with her Psychology professor, Gil Einstein, to conduct original research in the areas of imagery, memory, and the brain. This research was ultimately presented at the Carolinas Psychology Conference, and published in the Journal of the American Psychological Association. Jennifer transferred to Georgia State University to major in both Psychology and Biology, during which time she also staffed a night hotline providing free phone counseling and aid to addicts and others in danger.

 

Jennifer now spends her free time with her husband and two children, enjoying orchestral music, tennis, art, basketball, and travel.
